1. E-file is complete: Now you just have to hold tight and relax. Your refund is on its way.
2. Start tracking your refund: If your return was not accepted, a tax professional will contact you. You can track your refund at the IRS Where’s My Refund tool. The IRS expects to issue more than 9 out of 10 refunds in less than 21 days upon acceptance.
3. Your tax refund is here: If you chose direct deposit when you filed your return, you’ll need to allow 1-2 business days for your bank or financial institution to process it and have it available for you once the IRS has released it. If you didn’t choose direct deposit, the IRS will mail you your tax refund check, which could take 6-8 weeks. If filing an amendment, it can take anywhere from 8 – 12 weeks.
*Of course times may vary based on your individual situation.
My experience has been Top Notch, the entertainment business can be tricky so you have to have the right accountants and bookkeeper. They are professional and will get you the money you deserve.
I am a 5 year client and I am very satisfied, R&R has been very instrumental in bookkeeping for my business and as long as they’re in existence I will be a lifetime client.
I have been going to R&R for 5 years. They are about relationships, they really take their time to learn about their customers. They make sure they get you the most return back. I recommend them to everyone I know.
